It's true, we are well and truly spoilt when it comes to holidays and mini breaks, and are used to four star luxury - or at the very least, a comfortable bed and a bath big enough for two!
Still, kids love to camp so I'm sure we'll be biting the bullet and trying to get some more money's worth out of our new arsenal of camping equipment bought one crazy, sunny weekend when it seemed like SUCH a good idea.
In order to ease the shock to the system, my plan for this year is to give glamping a go. Stacks of cushions, luxury food hampers, champagne.......mmmmmmm champagne.
